Odd Local Disconnected Number Recordings in Alaska

The company United Utilities owns some switches in Alaska. They use two switch types - one of them gives the same recording every time, but the other type uses recordings made by the people who run the switch. Some of them are fine, but others give a very strong dose of local flavor.

My favorite is the 907-478 recording, which is by far the most odd person I've ever heard over the telephone. 907-295 has a chirp of 2600 at the end of the recording, too...

The 907-493 recording was used in two exchanges for some reason. I only included one of the recordings, because the other one was of course identical.

Well, enjoy! Make sure to listen to all of them, though, as they're quite interesting. They're in WAV format, 22050KHz, 16-bit.

yea boots on the one HDD, odd as this same set up used to run this plus 2 dvd burners off the same PSU. and did so for a good 2years.
