This is most likely the simplest phone cell phone jammer that is quite effective. Its fairly simple to build but you must keep all your component lead as short as possible. Its a fairly wide band oscillator that is directly modulated by an N555 timer operating as a set/reset astable pulse generator. You fine tune the unit by variable capacitor C1. The easiest way to do this with no test equipment is to get your cell phone and slowly tune the capacitor until you see the signal disappear. The antenna you want to put on it will be nothing more than a piece of stiff wire. The most commone cell phone band now is 1800 Mhz or 1.8 GHZ. at that frequency the antenna would need to be  1 and 1/2 inches long for a resonant quarter wave radiator. This will make the most effective antenna for jamming on 1.8 Ghz. This oscillator is VERY broadbanded and sweeps from about 1.2 Ghz to about 2.1 ghz when tuned for apprx. 1.8 Ghz. A 9 volt battery should last you about 2 hours of constant operation. When built these things are very small and you can easily 2 of them in an altoids tin and mount 2 antennas to the outside and have both using one battery. Tune one for 1.8 Ghz and the other should be tuned for 800-900 Mhz and you will effective cover most of the cell phone bands. It costs about 25 dollars in parts. some of the parts can be purchased at radio shack like the resistors and the N555 timer. the coils and caps you may need to get them from a company called http://Http://www.Digikey.com
They are cheap and their search engine for parts is awsome. If you have any questions you know where to find me!

Why not build some and we could buy them from you.  For educational purposes, of course.

$50-$75 a piece. You'd make a killing.

Deal Xtreme has decent ones for $30, know if they interfere with anything else other than cellphones?

There should be no difference.  Did you remove all of your old feed-button code?
